Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification along with experience in front line service delivery with marginalised populations.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, harm reduction and the Needle Syringe Program.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, manage and evaluate projects, to meet deadlines and to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders e.g. community members, non-government organisations, LHD Executive, government agencies and other health workers
- Demonstrated capacity to develop, deliver and evaluate training programs.
- An understanding of health promotion and community development frameworks.
- Advanced communication and professional writing skills, including the production of high level reports.
- Willingness and ability to work in the unpredictable and sometimes volatile environment for day and evening shifts across a 7 day rotating roster.
- Current NSW driver’s licence and travel in SESLHD with willingness to work across SESLHD with primary locations at the Sutherland Hospital and Kings Cross.
