Selection Criteria
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Practitioner, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
- Current, or eligible for, fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners or the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine and unconditional registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency, with recent clinical experience in General Practice at the role delineation of the service.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills, fostering positive and productive working relationships between team members and with other disciplines.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Available to participate in an on-call roster and to respond to site within a reasonable timeframe.
