Selection Criteria

  1. Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Practitioner, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
  2. Current, or eligible for, fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners or the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine and unconditional registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency, with recent clinical experience in General Practice at the role delineation of the service.
  3. Excellent communication and liaison skills, fostering positive and productive working relationships between team members and with other disciplines.
  4. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
  5. Available to participate in an on-call roster and to respond to site within a reasonable timeframe.
