Selection Criteria
- Qualification as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist or Allied Health Professional or relevant degree in health or education. Must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (if applicable) and/or eligibility for membership of a relevant peak body professional association.
- Demonstrated experience in working systemically with young children who have challenging behaviours, their families and their system of care and support, including individual, group and parent focussed clinical services.
- Demonstrated evidenced based skills and experience in the assessment and treatment of children and their families presenting with complex mental health needs.
- Sound interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with a range of individuals including: consumers, families and other health providers.
- Proven high level written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated computer literacy.
- Understanding of NSW Mental Health Act (2007).
- Current NSW Class C driver’s licence.
