What you will bring to the role:
- Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with General Registration as Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA (please supply registration number for verification), and endorsement in the area of Clinical Psychology.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and clinical experience in working in mental health services, the Project Air Model of Care, as well as working with families and carers.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in clinical psychological assessments, and case formulation of consumers with complex presentations, including consumers presenting in acute crisis, emotional and interpersonal difficulties, problems with identity and sense of self and high risk suicidal behaviour, self –harm and impulsive and self- destructive behaviour.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team to share expert knowledge with colleagues whilst building and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, leadership and support of colleagues and health professionals.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral and high level, organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of service delivery incorporating evidence based practice and research.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
