  2. Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and 7 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 5 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
  3. Holds approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate. Completed the NSW Health Education Centre Against Violence Graduate Certificate in the Medical and Forensic Management of Adult Sexual Assault (or equivalent).
  4. Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and expertise in clinical and forensic examinations of sexual assault victim-survivors and an ability to take part in 24/7 on call crisis roster.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills enabling collaborative work with colleagues, other health professionals and individuals to provide safe and effective care.
  6. Demonstrated clinical leadership skills including staff supervision and mentoring; participation in state/ national/ international specialist clinical groups; knowledge of best practice and contemporary clinical practice advances and a commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  8. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing education for clients, services and the broader workforce and involvement in conducting research programs and providing clinical advice and consultancy.
