About the Role
Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
The Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Manager is responsible for the operational and clinical governance of Domestic Violence Counselling and Sexual Counselling Service in SLHD.

Ideal Candidate
- Must hold as a minimum a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as counselling or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Experience in managing a counselling service for adults and young people aged 14 years and over impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault or experience managing another trauma/complex trauma related team and/or service.
- High level of understanding of the dynamics, ongoing risks and psycho-social and medico-legal issues associated with sexual assault and domestic violence including expertise in the relevant legislative and policy frameworks.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
