- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent work experience or a combination of relevant study and work experience.
- Significant experience and effective performance in a senior leadership role in a complex health organisation including a well-developed understanding of the practical application of leadership and management theory.
- Demonstrated highly developed strategic, conceptual and analytical skills to support effective and efficient service delivery and planning.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven capacity to manage and lead innovative organisational change with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of current changes/reforms relating to relevant health, hospital and community based services and potential effects these have for health service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, persuade and negotiate at senior management level to achieve a set of objectives, maintain organisational strategy and to ensure alignment with operational activity.
- Experience managing a large and diverse team, developing effective culture and engagement, inspiring commitment and developing capacity.
- NSW Drivers Licence and ability to travel for work if required.
