About The Opportunity
Surgical Specialities & Liver, Urology and Gastrointestinal Services Clinical Streams are looking for a highly motivated dynamic person who will enjoy working with a multidisciplinary team across the district in multiple sites and services.
This role will provide an opportunity for the successful applicant to enhance their skills in executive report writing, ministerial correspondence and data collection.
The successful applicant will work as part of the stream team reporting to the Clinical Manager and Clinical Directors of the streams.
What You'll Be Doing
The Executive Assistant (EA) provides organisational and administrative support to the Clinical Directors and Manager of the Critical Care and Surgical Specialties Clinical Stream and at times assists with other secretarial and administrative duties within the Clinical Stream Office. This position is required to develop and maintain effective office systems and procedures and ensure high professional standards. The position will provide administrative support for projects and services of the Clinical Stream and high level secretarial support for District wide Executive level committees.

- Demonstrated ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders both internally and externally to the LHD with experience in high level written and verbal communication, including ministerial correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to source, extract and collate data from a variety of data applications and prepare reports using Microsoft office applications in line with stream and organisational requirements.
