About the Opportunity
An opportunity exists for a motivated and driven administration professional to join the General Manager’s Unit (GMU) at Liverpool Hospital as Executive Assistant to two Executive Directors. 

The Executive Assistant to the Executive at Liverpool Hospital is responsible for high level diary management, preparing for meetings and minuting of a number of Committees, drafting correspondence, processing paperwork, assisting with Executive projects and administrative processes within the GMU.

 

What You'll be Doing
The Executive Assistant (EA) provides organisational and administrative support to the Executive Directors and Manager of the General Managers Unit (GMU).

This position is required to develop and maintain effective office systems and procedures, manage paperwork and minutes for Executive Committees, assist with Executive projects, and perform tasks and communicate on behalf of the Liverpool Executive as appropriate. The role assists with other secretarial and administrative duties as required

 

Where You'll Be Working 
Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation.

The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care.

Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney.

Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the UNSW Sydney and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges.

Located in the heart of Liverpool City, the hospital is close to public transport, shopping centres and eateries.

  1. Demonstrated ability to prepare professional high level documents including briefs, letters, reports and presentation material.
  2. Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office software packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  3. Demonstrated experience in providing secretarial and administrative support at an Executive level for Committee meetings.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proficient interpersonal skills.
