Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join the Cardiology Team, where you will play a vital role in delivering safe, person-centred care to patients with cardiac conditions. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide care activities aligned with individual nursing care plans, contribute to accurate health documentation, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.

This role requires a commitment to professional standards, reflective practice, and collaborative teamwork, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients. What will you bring to the role

  1. Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute nursing
  3. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
  4. Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
  5. Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
  6. Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Ability to work a flexible roster
