Located just two hours north of Sydney, Maitland is a perfect blend of rural charm and easy access to urban conveniences. 

The Maitland Hospital, Acute Inpatient Services, delivers comprehensive care to adult patients across a range of specialties, including Surgical, Medical, Oncology, and Orthopaedic services. The hospital is equipped to provide high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals with complex health needs, offering both emergency and planned inpatient services. 

The nursing team at Maitland Hospital plays a vital role as members of a specialised multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with a diverse group of professionals including allied health professionals, administrative staff, and medical specialists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

The successful applicant will be supported by the Nursing Unit Manager and Education Team. They will receive orientation and training to the role with online modules and supernumerary time.

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
