Selection Criteria:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience in programming and report writing using Cerner Command Language (CCL) or SQL.
  2. Demonstrated highly developed analytical and problem solving skills, with strong planning, time management and organisation skills and an ability to work outside normal business hours (if required), including on call support, and onsite support.
  3. Demonstrated ability to understand the interrelationships of database models for program development and experience in other programming languages, e.g. Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET, VBScript.
  4. Demonstrated experience in software development and support processes i.e. issue investigation and resolution, testing, change control management and version control processes.
  5. Working knowledge of Linux and other similar operating systems.
  6. Demonstrated high level interpersonal and negotiation skills including proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to develop and maintain documentation in both a technical and business context.
  7. Demonstrated highly developed customer engagement and support experience for delivery of excellent services to stakeholders.
  8. Proven ability to function as a self-motivated multi skilled analyst, working collaboratively in a team environment, with a positive proactive attitude, who can effectively work with minimal supervision.
