  1. Bachelor or post graduate degree of health science or applied science in leisure, recreation or diversional therapy and eligibility for membership with Australian Recreation Therapy Association .
  2. Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the provision of a recreation service to consumers, carers and families requiring health education, leisure services and bio-psychosocial interventions.
  3. Proven ability to exercise professional judgement commensurate with years of experience and to establish effectively collaboratively working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and inter-agency networks.
