Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, Health Management, Law and/or experience as a senior Health Information Manager.
Extensive experience as a senior Health Information Manager (HIM), Medico-Legal Manager, or Health Manager with capacity to provide strategic and operational advice to the District Health Information Manager and/or other services regarding all aspects of provision of quality medico-legal services is desirable.
Advanced knowledge, understanding and commitment to legislation and NSW Health policies relevant to the release of information, medico-legal requests, and privacy.
