Our Medical Workforce Team is growing and we’re currently looking to hire a temporary full time District Medical Workforce Manager up until 31 January 2027.
In this role you will provide leadership and management to the Medical Workforce team that services the entirety of Blue Mountains Local Health District. You will lead and manage Medical Workforce services including workforce planning, budgeting, rostering, workforce systems and analytics, recruitment and transactions, rotations and secondments, orientation and prevocational network management, Human Resource operations, and policy and procedures.
Your success in the role will be driven by your ability to lead and develop a high performing Medical Workforce team that services the growing needs of the community.

What you will bring to the role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, for example in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Management or substantial experience in managing a team in a large, complex and diverse service industry.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage a team with a commitment to high standards of customer service, professionalism and quality improvement.
- High level analytical and quality improvement experience and skills. Experience in developing, implementing, and reporting on key performance indicators/measures.
- Demonstrated proficiency using computer applications and workforce systems to monitor improvement program outcomes.
- Demonstrated high-level communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain highly professional, positive and sustainable relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high-level organisational skills with experience in balancing strategic and operational management needs.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in financial management
