Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated experience as part of a senior management team in a substantial and complex organisation with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a range of organisation reform projects.
  2. Demonstrated capacity to strategically lead management of PeopleHub and Workforce Planning and technology projects in payroll and rostering .
  3. Demonstrated ability to provide effective governance, organisational information and reporting processes and technical skills in managing workforce/human resources data. Also provision of metrics where required to NSW government, Public Service Commission, Australian Council of Ambulance Authorities, NSW Ambulance Executive and NSW Health.
  4. Innovative problem solving skills for managing conflicting priorities and developing successful recommendations and advice on policies, strategies and solutions across complex areas.
  5. High level written skills including the ability to prepare detailed reports and management briefs to executive and senior management; oral communication, interpersonal negotiation skills including a demonstrated commitment to providing effective client services and to interact with working parties, management and external stakeholders.
  6. Demonstrated high level planning and organising skills with the ability to work within tight timeframes where attention to detail is essential.
  7. Evidence of considerable conceptual skills to ensure the careful mapping of processes for both data collection and key decision making to ensure they are credible and reproducible along with high level computer literacy, including, databases, spreadsheets, word processing and other applications used in the Windows environment.
  8. Demonstrated people management skills, including providing staff support, staff development, performance management and the early identification of unacceptable workplace behaviours and taking appropriate action such as investigation, resolution and monitoring of harassment and bullying, grievance issues and conflict resolution.
