MLHD is located in the regional Riverina area which provides a perfect work life balance. We provide health care services across a diverse area from 33 hospitals and12 community health settings.
This newly created position will enable operational delivery against the MLHD Strategic Plan and facilitate an integrated approach across all Directorates to ensure that patient care and experience is seamless in our services.

The Executive Director Service Delivery provides strategic leadership, direction, and day to day management across a wide range of health services including the areas of mental health and drug and alcohol, care in the community, allied health and disability, public health, oral health and violence abuse and neglect services. As an Executive role, the position holder contributes to the broad strategic agenda for the organisation. That agenda encompasses the delivery of safe and equitable health services and being a partner in delivering a wide range of services to the population of Murrumbidgee with the intrinsic intention of improving the health of the people it serves.
This is an ongoing, full time, Band 1, Health Service Senior Executive (HSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $225,740 to $249,843 per annum, with annual performance reviews, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

About you
We are looking for a passionate leader, who can support the work of NSW Health to develop, lead and manage a wide range of health services to optimise quality health care and business outcomes.
You will be a supportive and inclusive leader with excellent team development and leadership skills coupled with an open communication style.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health Management and/or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, experience and expertise in health service delivery, across a diverse range of care sectors, advocating for positive change in a broad range of community and government forums.
- Proven track record at a senior executive level working on local and regional service delivery, major reform initiatives and integrated health service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse range of staff across clinical and corporate functions to deliver high quality integrated health services, acute and community mental health services and key performance indicators and benchmarks.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a culture that encourages sound patient care, financial responsibility, innovation and productivity improvements.

- Outline your prior experience in implementing change across a large complex health organisation, that has delivered improved patient outcomes and experience, enhanced key performance indicators, and within sustainable resources.
