Director of Nursing & Midwifery - Orange Health Service

- Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse/ Midwife (Division 1), with extensive experience in nursing and midwifery leadership and management within an acute care health setting at senior management level and relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Demonstrated a proven record of excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and analyse clinical service and lead the implementation and evaluation of evidence based best practice and contemporary models of care within nursing/midwifery services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the financial resources and nursing/ midwifery workforce requirements.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead a multidisciplinary team within a complex environment evidenced through the use of highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, advocacy and communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of and commitment to health system safety, quality, risk management, change management, innovation, professional practice development and research.
- Understanding of and commitment to the effective and meaningful engagement of clinicians in the decision making process that impacts on positive patient outcomes.
- Current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes.
