Director Inpatient Mental Health - Location Negotiable
Selection Criteria
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications or relevant professional experience or a combination of both.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in a senior position leading mental health services, including a proven track record successfully managing human resources, finance, and service performance.
- Demonstrated extensive experience and achievements with staff safety, patient safety and quality, risk management, innovation, and research.
- Demonstrated achievement in successfully managing large multidisciplinary teams, inspiring and coaching staff, managing performance, and fostering positive workplace culture and workplace wellbeing.
- Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills; and proven advanced conflict resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Current unrestricted drivers' licence, a willingness to travel and stay overnight as the role requires.
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases
This is a Category ‘A’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2022-030. All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.
All NSW Health Category A workers are required to have received at least three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
