Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated superior leadership skills in a complex organisation with proven success in developing high performance teams and outputs.
- Relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in business, finance, or a related discipline and /or substantial experience in financial management, controls, and reporting arrangements at a senior level with Extensive knowledge of the service delivery and financial challenges facing NSW Health.
- Substantial experience in preparing and evaluating complex submissions and business cases, developing funding models, and providing high level strategic financial or economic advice at executive level.
- Highly developed organisational, project and program management skills to ensure the effective coordination of reform program objectives and reporting requirements across a large, complex organisation.
- High-level strategic analytical ability and demonstrated experience in the development of innovative solutions, administration of program and performance reporting systems and reports.
- Strong written communication skills and excellent communication, interpersonal, consultation, networking, and negotiation skills to foster productive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
- Demonstrated experience in the identification and successful implementation of efficiency and process improvement strategies.
- Sound judgement and a strong and proven capacity for working independently, with minimal supervision and a high level of initiative, in achieving role accountabilities.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.

- This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.

- This position is open to internal NSW Health permanent employees, or temporary employees who have been employed as part of a merit based selection process for more than 3 months.
