Selection criteria to be addressed:
- Meets the requirements to apply for Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) Registration in Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physics (Radiology)
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work independently with a high level of productivity to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes
- Eligible to hold NSW EPA S17s and IA17s license to use ionising radiation apparatus and radioactive substances
- Demonstrated clinical experience in radiology diagnostic imaging medical physics in a clinical environment
- Demonstrated supervisory and educational skills. Supervision of medical physics registrars (Trainees)
- Participated in commissioning imaging and nuclear medicine technology
- Demonstrated high level communication and organisational skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, patients and members of the public on radiation issues; including the ability to analyse and compile comprehensive written reports on radiation safety matters
- Evidence of initiative and ability to prioritise amongst competing service requirements, and willing to work flexible work hours (early or late) at times, as required and has a NSW driving licence
