Selection criteria to be addressed:

  1. Meets the requirements to apply for Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) Registration in Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physics (Radiology)
  2. Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work independently with a high level of productivity to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes
  3. Eligible to hold NSW EPA S17s and IA17s license to use ionising radiation apparatus and radioactive substances
  4. Demonstrated clinical experience in radiology diagnostic imaging medical physics in a clinical environment
  5. Demonstrated supervisory and educational skills. Supervision of medical physics registrars (Trainees)
  6. Participated in commissioning imaging and nuclear medicine technology
  7. Demonstrated high level communication and organisational skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, patients and members of the public on radiation issues; including the ability to analyse and compile comprehensive written reports on radiation safety matters
  8. Evidence of initiative and ability to prioritise amongst competing service requirements, and willing to work flexible work hours (early or late) at times, as required and has a NSW driving licence
