About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Research Directorate team in SWSLHD. This is a unique opportunity to grow and develop your skills by being involved in various projects and initiatives to better support our researchers. You will be actively involved in planning and executing the Districts premier event, the Health Beyond Research and Innovation Showcase.
You will have the opportunity to plan new projects and work collaboratively with a variety of different people. This role works closely with the media and communications teams, research units, the Office of Health and Medical Research, the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research and our partner universities.

What You'll be Doing
The purpose of the Development Support Administration Officer is to coordinate and manage the research support activities of the Research Directorate in the South Western Sydney Local Health District. This will include managing the daily operations of the Development Support Unit, including coordination of the annual research and innovation showcase, the creation of the annual research report, developing and maintaining reporting databases and assisting the Research Development Manager and Development Support Manager in implementing the action items of the research strategy including general support duties as directed by the Manager.

- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
