Where you’ll be working:     
Location Negotiable within Southern New South Wales Local Health District
What you’ll be doing:
The Data Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity of data leading to the creation of quality reporting products by the Business Analytics Unit.


Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated expert knowledge and understanding of challenges and issues in relation to data integrity and how it applies to organisational performance.
  2. Highly competent computer skills including the Microsoft suite and demonstrated ability to learn electronic based systems and applications as they relate to data integrity.
  3. Demonstrated experience in the interpretation and analysis of data(Health experience desirable) with the willingness to develop competence in new data sets and learn software packages and technologies including online reporting technologies, as directed.
  4. Demonstrated experience in representing an organisation in relation to data quality, data collections and system use with an organisation(or similar).
  5. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation, prioritisation, motivational and change management skills, with a focus on maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
  6. Demonstrated understanding of compliance with minimum data sets and classification systems.
  7. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with management and staff within and across teams to achieve organisational outcomes, while working flexibly in a rapidly changing environment.
  8. Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
