What you'll be doing
Join our passionate team supporting end-of-life and palliative care services across WSLHD. As the Data and Evaluation Project Officer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we measure impact and improve care for patients and families. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing data systems and tools
- Creating a consistent monitoring and evaluation plan
- Supporting services across inpatient, outpatient & community settings
- Helping drive service improvement through meaningful insights
- Making a real difference in how care is delivered at life’s end
How to Apply

- Relevant tertiary clinical qualifications with experience in data analysis and statistics.
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyse health service-related datasets and provide advice and support on data analysis planning and interpretation.
- Demonstrated expertise (or the ability to quickly acquire expertise) in relevant data sources, including but not limited to clinical applications, electronic medical records (eMR), Ministry of Health activity projection data (CaSPA), population health data (SAPHaRI), Health Stats data, NSW Health Survey data, and service activity data.
- Demonstrated understanding of evaluation purposes and an ability to contribute to project evaluation.
- Demonstrated advanced skills in Excel, data management, analysis and data presentation (particularly large data sets), and experience in using Power BI is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills, including oral presentations, written reports and briefings.
