Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated understanding of casemix information and classification systems and their application to clinical costing and activity based funding
- Detailed understanding or previous experience in clinical costing processes, costing standards and methods
- Knowledge of major hospital data systems related to patient activity and costs e.g. eMR, SurgiNET, FirstNET, Allied Health Cerner, iPM, PowerBudget and PowerFTE
- Computer skills required to manipulate and analyse large amounts of data including proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
- Skills in communicating, negotiating and liaising with senior managers and clinicians
- Experience in managing data quality, and developing data reconciliation and validation processes
- Self directed in managing a high workload to deadlines and the mandated requirements of the Ministry of Health and the SESLHD
