To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience with a record of achievement in procurement and contract management in a large and complex service environment. This includes extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in commercial and contract negotiations and contract and supplier management.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of systems that ensure contract and procurement processes are in line with NSW Health policy.
- A proven track record of achievement as a senior manager in a complex service planning and delivery environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the effective management of both human and financial resources.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, facilitation, consultation and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and refine strategic relationships both within an organisation and external to the organisation.
- Demonstrated high level skills in the analysis of complex issues, problem solving and action of innovative approaches to improving outcomes for consumers.
- Demonstrated achievement in successfully leading individuals and teams – managing and coaching staff, building capacity, meeting performance goals and always fostering and maintaining a consumer focused work culture.
- Demonstrated experience in senior management of a complex public health environment including experience with PPP management.
