What you'll be doing
 
As a Communication Officer, you’ll be at the heart of shaping impactful, high-quality communications that connect with our diverse stakeholders. Your ability to craft clear, engaging messaging will ensure we reach the right audience, through the right channels, every time.
 

As a key point of contact for media interactions, you'll:

  • respond to media enquiries, and prepare media releases, speeches, and Q&As for key events including support on Ministerial events;
  • advise senior staff on emerging issues and support their communications requests;
  • build a strong relationship with local and metropolitan media;
  • coordinate impactful multi-channel content and campaigns that inform and engage our internal and external stakeholders;
  • monitor media and health sector trends to develop effective issues management strategies and relevant communications to our workforce.
