Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in communications or related field and demonstrated experience in communications and/or journalism and working in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communications skills including experience in writing for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated solid analytical and problem solving ability with interpersonal and influencing skills with a strong customer service approach.
  • Highly effective time management and demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the workings of government and experience in executive/ministerial correspondence and liaison.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of web-based information and content.
