CNS2 - Safeguards Child and Adolescent Mental Health - Coffs Harbour

1. Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) with relevant post graduate qualifications in mental health and at least 3 years recent experience working in the child and adolescent mental health clinical area.
2. Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues and problem solve through the development and use of clinical management plans
3. Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making while working as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional boundaries with complex situations.
4. Experience in providing care in a culturally appropriate manner for diverse populations, including Aboriginal communities
5. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
6. Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff
7. Extensive contemporary experience and knowledge of nursing practice, as well as demonstrated understanding of the principles of trauma informed care and its application when working with children/adolescents and families/carers.
8. Current NSW drivers licence and ability to travel as required.
