Clinical Trainer

1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them
2. Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent demonstrated knowledge and experience working within an eMR education and clinical training role and high-level skills in facilitating learning processes.
3. Proven extensive experience in the organisation, development, delivery and evaluation of training syllabi to users of clinical systems and coordination of flexible training programs to suit the complexity, needs and best learning methods of clinical staff.
4. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to prepare training material and reports, give presentations, engage clinicians, negotiate change and effectively communicate to a wide range of health professionals
5. Demonstrated understanding of clinical practices and the role of clinical information systems in the provision of patient care including understanding of the benefits that can be achieved by implementing an electronic clinical system.
6. Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills particularly in the area of managing multiple tasks/conflicting priorities and multi-disciplinary issues to meet deadlines.
7. Ability to travel to all facilities within Northern Sydney and Central Coast Local Health Districts.
8. High level proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
