The ideal candidate will have…

 

  • Must hold a post graduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, and/or Doctorate or PhD) that provides eligibility for full membership of the APS and ACPA.
  • Current clinical psychology supervisor status recognised with the Australian Health Practitioner’s Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge, skill and clinical experience in the provision of clinical psychology interventions, specifically for eating disorders. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (including CBT for eating disorders), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Remediation Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Insight Oriented Psychotherapy. Demonstrated skills in working with families.
