Clinical Psychologist (Inpatient and Community) - Older Persons Mental Health Service, Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service

Selection Criteria

1. Registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA with an endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
2. Demonstrated experience in mental health including experience in cognitive-behavioural therapy and other relevant therapeutic techniques, such as group therapy, mindfulness techniques, family therapy, cognitive remediation and interventions for complex grief.
3. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding in working with consumers who have cognitive impairment, dementia and/or Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD), including formulating behavioural management plans.
4. Experience in cognitive screening and/or neuropsychological assessment and report-writing
5. Demonstrated experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement.
6. Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
7. Computer literacy including MS Office applications & relevant health databases and systems
8. Current NSW Drivers Licence (Class C – unrestricted)
