Selection criteria to be addressed:

  1. Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and full registration as Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA and endorsement in the area of Clinical Psychology, or eligibility to progress to endorsement.
  2. Postgraduate clinical experience and demonstrated high level of knowledge, skills and clinical expertise in child and youth mental health; including knowledge and experience of a range of psychotherapies.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of family systems and ability to work therapeutically with families to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.
  4. Demonstrated understanding of childhood trauma, child protection and domestic and other violence as they relate to child and youth mental health.
  5. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, and effective time management skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and knowledge of and experience with quality improvement and evidence based practice.
  8. Current unrestricted NSW driver’s licence and willingness to use same for work purposes.
