What you'll be doing
Join a dedicated team delivering expert psychological care to adults with eating disorders. This role blends clinical excellence, collaboration and leadership.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy and recovery-focused care
- Provide assessment and treatment planning for complex cases
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care model
- Supervise students and provide training to staff
- Lead service development and quality improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements:
- Qualification: Postgraduate qualification / degree in Clinical Psychology
- Registration: Registration as Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
- A four year degree in Psychology, being a three year degree with a fourth year honours in Psychology (or qualifications deemed equivalent by the Health Administration Corporation of NSW) plus a post-graduate degree at the masters level or higher in Clinical Psychology from a recognised university. Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Extensive post-graduate experience in the provision of contemporary Adult Mental Health Practice with a tertiary setting, including conducting mental health assessments and the provision of evidence-based interventions for adults who are experiencing eating disorders and comorbidities at high levels of complexity and severity.
- Demonstrated knowledge of disordered eating, body image and related social and cultural issues associated with the development of eating disorders and demonstrated knowledge of innovative public health and community interventions to address the development and treatment of people with eating disorders.
- Demonstrated experience in liaising, consulting and educating on medical and/or mental health issues with health professional eg. GP’s, Nurses, Allied Health, involved in the management and treatment of outpatients and day patients.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a variety of therapeutic models for effective treatment of patients and their families including trauma informed care; skill in working with adults both individually and in groups.
- Demonstrated experience in and application of quality improvement principles, the principles of group education and group therapy.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, interpersonal, verbal and written and the ability to work individually and in a multidisciplinary team.
