  1. Full registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia with no restrictions on scope of practice

  2. Demonstrated relevant clinical pharmacy experience (including haematology/oncology) in a busy hospital environment

  3. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with health professionals at all levels, and with patients and families, building effective relationships

  4. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and the ability to work independently

  5. Attention to detail and accuracy in undertaking all tasks; effective problem solving skills

  6. Demonstrated commitment to develop and improve skills relevant to current practice including evidence of self-directed learning/continuing education

  7. Demonstrated evidence of contribution to Quality Improvement and research activities

Applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

 

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate.

 

ASARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) 3 doses are required for Category A positions (refer to NSW Policy Directive PD2022_030 Occupational Assessment Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases).

 

ASARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) 3 doses are highly recommended for all other health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
