Selection Criteria to be Addressed:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and extensive relevant post registration nursing experience.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, managers, staff and other key stakeholders.
- Qualification and experience in either Staff Health, Occupational Health, Infection Control or vaccination/immunisation related fields.
- Certificate as an Authorised Nurse Immuniser and thorough understanding of vaccination policies (including OASV) and related procedures including evidence-based practice as it relates to vaccine preventable diseases, immunology, interpreting serology results and summaries.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating quality improvement projects and/or system improvement processes.
- Experience in delivering training within a small department and to a wider audience.
- Competent in providing a range of high-level reports using a suite of programs ie VaxLink, StaffLink & Excel.
- Current NSW Drivers Class C and the ability to travel within NBMLHD at short notice.
