About the Opportunity
Liverpool Hospital is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Educator to join the Cancer Therapy Centre (CTC). This unique role offers the opportunity to rotate through medical oncology, haematology, and radiation services, supporting nurses in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to cancer patients.
You will provide education, mentorship, and clinical support across a range of oncology treatments, helping staff develop specialised skills such as chemotherapy administration, CVAD/IVAD management, and ultrasound-guided cannulation. Working closely with a passionate multidisciplinary team, you’ll foster a learning environment that promotes safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing
Deliver and evaluate clinical education programs in consultation with Management, Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Consultants, to support the delivery of clinical best practice, patient service and enhanced patient outcomes.
Where You'll Be Working
Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, offering a wide range of state-wide services including critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care, and brain injury rehabilitation. As a key teaching facility for UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University, it provides extensive clinical services, including emergency care, cancer treatment, paediatrics, and mental health services. The hospital features 23 operating theatres and has a capacity for 877 beds.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
