Selection Criteria
Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field, or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated understanding of competency-based assessment with experience in education / clinical teaching and developing clinical programs based on adult learning principles.
Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team.
Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise
Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care
Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace
- Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment
