As the Clinical Nurse Educator within Anaesthetics at Wollongong Hospital, you will provide direct supervision at the point of care and contribute to a culture of quality, safety and professional development for the nursing staff within our Perioperative Service. As an experienced anaesthetics nurse, you will provide education and training for new graduate and experienced nurses, as well as exposure to emergency department nurses and trainee paramedics – allowing you to continue to develop your own mentoring and education skills while working with a variety of staff.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

Anaesthetics within Wollongong Hospital is a growing area, covering a wide range of specialities including vascular and nuero surgery. ·         Post Graduate qualification in anaesthetic nursing
