- Deliver competent nursing education in a hospital-wide capacity.
- Contribute to the development of colleagues and identify learning needs
- Support less experienced staff and acts as preceptor for new staff (when delegated this function)
- Support the orientation of new staff to the hospital
- Provide day to day clinical education support and clinical supervision at the point of care
- Provide 1:1 informal education
- Provide support for skill development in clinical procedures, professional development, clinical policy development.
- Implement and evaluate education programs
Essential criteria:
- Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA plus relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications and clinical experience.
