Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1
Remuneration: $63.91 - $65.21 per hour + Salary packaging

About the role:
- Promote local community awareness of dementia, available services
- Provide information to people with dementia and their carers
- Lead local dementia carer support groups
- Provide dementia education to various stakeholders
- Support is provided by CACS GNS Aged Care Services Manager and CNC in Aged Care
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
- At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience and approved post-registration nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the specialty field, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation
About you:
- Ability to prioritise workload within a small team
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills e.g. presentation skills, working with diverse groups
- Demonstrate professionalism in an empathic and caring manner
- Knowledge and understanding of my aged care and referral pathways for appropriate services
- Understanding of dementia and ability to provide comprehensive assessment and consultation for people with dementia, their families, and carers
- Understanding and provision of person-centred care in collaboration with clients, carers, and service providers to achieve identified outcomes
