Clinical Nurse Consultant

2. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (APRHA) and a minimum of 5 years post registration experience in a mental health and/or aged care speciality and a current NSW Driver’s licence.
3. Post graduate tertiary qualification within the speciality of mental health drug and alcohol or significant progress working towards same
4. Demonstrated experience working with people who have diagnosis of moderate to very severe behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia and / or mental illness (BPSD &/or BPS-MI) and demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate Interventions and Behavioural Care Plans for individuals with BPSD &/or BPS-MI
5. Extensive experience in conducting comprehensive behavioural, mental health, physical health assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating Behaviour Intervention Plans and Nursing Care Plans based on positive programming principles and evidence based practice.
6. Demonstrated experience with research activities and developing and implementing education programs.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and people from Government and Non-government agencies. Computer literacy.
8. Holds a current NSW Drivers Licence
