Essential Criteria
Registration: Midwifery
Selection Criteria
- Registered Midwife (Division 1) with AHPRA.
- Holds a relevant clinical or education post registration qualification and a minimum three years full time equivalent post graduate qualification experience in midwifery continuity of care/ caseload /MGP practice.
- Proven competence in advanced midwifery skills: Perineal suturing/ cannulation / maternal and neonatal resuscitation/ speculum examination /comprehensive assessment of the newborn.
- Holds a current NSW full drivers licence.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in midwifery practice and understanding of the principles of continuity of care.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication including verbal, written and interpersonal skills and use of information technology and the ability to plan and prioritise workload.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Demonstrated mentorship and clinical teaching skills.
