What you will bring to the role:
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and working towards International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant certification or equivalent experience. Relevant post registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualifications or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated change management skills in the provision, improvement, and monitoring of care outcomes within a multidisciplinary care setting.
- Demonstrated ability to practice safe nursing/midwifery care in line with policies and clinical practice guidelines.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous quality improvement and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to promote the values of the service i.e., respect, communication, empathy, honesty, trust & leadership.
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation, Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders. colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
