  2. Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Midwife and holds relevant clinical and education postgraduate qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
  3. Substantial recent clinical midwifery experience in all areas including Birthing Unit.
  4. Attended an assessor's program or has qualification in Workplace Assessments or equivalent.
  5. Demonstrated ability to practice safe midwifery care and knowledge of policies and clinical practice guidelines.
  6. Demonstrated evidence of clinical teaching, and have accreditation in advanced skills (Perinea! repair, IV Cannulation, Speculum examination) or equivalent experience.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to evidence based practice, continuous quality improvement and risk management.
  8. Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills.
