To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

 

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management and eligibility for full membership to the HIMAA.
  2. Demonstrated management and leadership skills with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the development of policies/procedures, data/information reports and quality improvement activities.
  4. High level knowledge and experience with computer systems including patient Administration Systems, electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
  5. Ability to establish effective working relationships with senior management, staff and other key internal and external stakeholders and provide advice and direction to effect change.
  6. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and NSW Ministry of Health policies/ procedures relevant to health information management
  7. Proven ability to organise and prioritise a high-volume workload and meet deadlines.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and work unsupervised .

To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.

 

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
