About the Role
Sydney Dental Hospital (SDH) has been serving the local community since 1904. The Hospital is a centre of excellence and throughout its history has been a key driver in shaping oral health and dental care in Australia.
This is achieved through involvement in relevant management committees and the coordination of an organisation-wide Quality Management and Risk Management Program based on SDH-OHS Strategic and Operational Plans and the SLHD District Strategic Plan.
The Manager, Clinical Governance plans, oversees and participates in audits and investigations of clinical incidents through an ongoing program of education in various aspects of quality and change management. The role works in partnership with Managers and Heads of Department in supporting clinical staff to develop and focus on good clinical practice and effective quality and safety processes.
Ideal Candidate
- Tertiary qualifications in a health-related field and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership and management in clinical governance, patient safety, quality and clinical risk management at senior management level, with demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills in relation to strategic development, monitoring and evaluation of such activities.
