What you'll be doing
You will join a passionate team driving research and education at WSLHD. This role supports the Clinical Ethics Service through high-level admin and research coordination. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting key clinical ethics initiatives
  • Coordinating service delivery across WSLHD
  • Assisting with research and service evaluation
  • Working closely with ethics leaders & partners
  • Being part of a collaborative, purpose-driven team
  • Helping shape ethical care and decision-making

  1. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills including a demonstrated capacity to manage sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
  2. Ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders throughout all organisational levels as well as patient, carers and their families.
  3. Demonstrated highly effective organisational skills, including prioritisation and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, be flexible, show initiative, and remain proficient in periods of high demand and activity.
  4. Demonstrated experience in supporting senior management and committees including the coordination of committees, committee secretariat skills, research skills and experience, and reporting and evaluation to ensure high quality deliverables.
  5. Demonstrated excellent computer skills, and proficiency in the use of MS Office suite, together with the ability to learn new software quickly and effectively.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic and complex environment.

  8. Willingness to travel across the LHD as required.
