The Role


The Clinical Director Aboriginal Health works in partnership with the Service Director Aboriginal Health, the Director Aboriginal Health and the General Manager Primary Care to ensure delivery of culturally responsive services to improve the outcomes for Aboriginal patients in contact with the NSW forensic mental health and criminal justice systems, across community, inpatient and custodial settings.
This position is primarily responsible for providing clinical leadership, support and advice, and fostering standards of clinical excellence in the development and delivery of Primary Care for Aboriginal patients.
The Clinical Director Aboriginal Health is responsible to the General Manager Primary Care for all clinical and operational matters and has a professional reporting line to the Executive Medical Director.
