How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Unrestricted registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrate ability to lead a large multidisciplinary dental team, and ability to advice and support to all dental practitioners within the team.
  3. Demonstrated high level of clinical independence as a senior dentist with ability to accept referrals from other dentists and oral health therapists.
  4. Demonstrated highly advanced clinical skills and clinical reasoning abilities in managing most of the difficult clinical situations, complex medical histories, children and those with physical and mental disabilities.
  5. Demonstrate an earned recognition of their exceptional competence in dentistry and have a proven record for carrying out a broad range of advanced and complex dental procedures, as well as experience in performing procedures under oral sedation, relative analgesia and general anaesthesia.
  6. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills including ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals including the general public.
  7. Demonstrate ability to act as a mentor to other clinical staff, teach undergraduate students as well as assume responsibility for providing clinical supervision, advice and support to all dental practitioners within the team.
  8. Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical practice, develop and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff, as well as conduct clinical research.
  9. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
